Atix Hotel La Paz

The first Bolivian hotel to become a member of the Design Hotels Association, Atix is also a contemporary art gallery. The artistic concept of the hotel was developed by Gastón Ugalde, an artist who is actually the ambassador of Bolivia in the art world.
- Design hotel with views of the Andean valley
- Clad in unique stone
- Exhibition of photographs by Gaston Ugalde
The architecture and design delicately plays on the natural and cultural heritage of the country: the facade is lined with local stone and wood, and Ugalde s works tell about the different climatic zones and tribes of Bolivia.
Many rooms offer stunning views of the Andes, and floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the views. The upper floors of the hotel are occupied by a glass loft; there is a bar +591 (Bolivia s telephone code), where you can taste Bolivian wines from the Tarija region with a view of La Paz in the evening.
Ona Restaurant serves modern South American cuisine: Andean risotto with mountain herbs, Lake Titicaca trout, local beef with chimichurri.
