Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada is a historic hotel consisting of six Spanish-Colonial mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries. Here, history is woven into every plaster wall, tiled bathtub and curved ceiling, all balanced with modern luxury.

Each room is unique and rich in history, while the decor exudes colonial charm and casual style. All 37 guestrooms combine antique and original artwork, luxurious fabrics, contemporary furnishings, with 18th- and 19th-century tables, rugs and headboards, hand-stenciled walls, talavera tile bathrooms and copper bathtubs crafted by local artisans.
The suites feature 12-foot beamed ceilings, fireplaces and hand-carved French doors that open to a central courtyard lined with geraniums and jacaranda trees. There is also a small pool, a temezcal (traditional Mexican steam bath) and a sun terrace with city and mountain views.
