Giraffe Manor Nairobi

Surely you have seen photos and videos of happy people having breakfast in the company of giraffes on Instagram: they pull their long necks through the windows and are happy to help themselves to pieces of fruit. This is Giraffe Manor, a five-star hotel in the suburbs of Nairobi, occupying a charming Scottish-style mansion.
- Unique estate hotel
- Breakfast in the company of giraffes
- Romantic and family holidays
The mansion is surrounded by twelve acres of private grounds. There are only twelve rooms; all of them are decorated in a colonial style — comfortable beds with muslin mosquito nets, cozy furniture, like in a good English house, fireplaces, porcelain dishes. One of the suites is named after Karen Blixen, a Danish baroness and author of the novel "From Africa". Others are named after the giraffe people whose fates were linked to the estate.
In addition to Giraffe Manor, the Carr-Hartley family owns three more luxury lodges in the reserves of Kenya — Maasai Mara, Samburu and in the private Ol Padgett Reservation.
Another unique opportunity that The Safari Collection hotels give their guests together with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation is the "adoption" of an elephant: your monthly donations will help grow a very happy elephant out of it.
