Jao Camp Okavango, Moremi

If there is an analogue of the concept of "zen" in Botswana, then in Jao Camp you will be completely covered by this feeling. The restaurant and rooms offer stunning views of the savannah through the glazed walls: they look especially atmospheric at sunset.
- Rest in the style of "Zen"
- Stunning views of the savannah
- Interiors made of natural materials
The interior is created entirely from natural materials — wood, leather, local reeds — but at the same time it looks exceptionally modern and literally begs for the pages of some interior magazine.
In 2019, the camp was completely rebuilt, and now it is the personification of a fashionable eco-conscious resort: for example, during the construction of new awnings, many materials were reused. The founders of the travel company that owns the camp are making every effort to minimize the footprint left by a person in the savannah.
Jao Camp is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta and is surrounded by water meadows and groves. Elephants, leopards, lions and lychee water goats walk in the immediate vicinity of the camp. But do not worry that they will disturb your peace — as is customary in Africa, all the awnings are on an elevation, so that the view from the terraces of the rooms is excellent.
In addition to the five standard tents, Jao Camp has two villas, each for four people, ideal for a family or a small group of friends.
