Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort East Village

You have probably seen pictures on the internet with glowing hemispheres in snowdrifts against the backdrop of an Arctic forest. This place exists in reality and is called Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. Their glass igloos have long been a landmark in Finnish Lapland.
- Glass igloos
- Northern Lights
- Lots of summer and winter activities
The Arctic Circle is only 250 kilometers away from here, and this is one of the best places to admire the Northern lights, moreover, without getting out of bed — the beds in the igloo rooms are installed directly under the glass dome. Inside the igloo correspond to all ideas of modern comfort: a comfortable bed, modern furniture in an ecological style.
Glass igloos are just one category of rooms at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. There are also traditional wooden chalets with a porch, and real snow igloo, just like the ancient Sami, for connoisseurs of authentic experience. And recently, wooden log cabins have also appeared, which differ from real village huts in that a glass dome is attached to them, as in an igloo.
