The hotel is located in a quiet village, five minutes drive or approximately 20 minutes walk from the center of Megève, offering magnificent views of Mont Blanc. L`Alpaga is open all year round, and in winter guests can enjoy ski holidays (free shuttle service to the nearest ski lifts in Megève) and in summer alpine walks right from the hotel s front door.

The designer s intention was to create village atmosphere, but the atmosphere is more cosmopolitan than it implies: as if a small chic beach resort had been transported to the mountains. Bartender Carlito is a master mixologist, and the sundeck, with its gas fireplaces, torches and faux fur-draped chairs, feels more like a beach club than a village square.

The rooms offer a more alpine style than the main rooms. Alpine fabrics, treated leathers, brushed metals, silky velvets, and light wood paneling all give the suites a warm, authentic ambiance. It also has all the modern five-star luxury, with extremely comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and Hermès toiletries. All rooms have balconies, many with views of Mont Blanc and the high mountain pastures.

L`Alpaga offers six private chalets that can accommodate from six to eight people, and two large private chalets in Megève itself.

Michelin-starred chef Anthony Bisquerra offers two versions of his authentic Alpine cuisine using locally sourced ingredients: one in a casual fifties-style bistro and one in a full-fledged gourmet restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet with large baskets of flavorful pastries, fresh fruit, cereals and juices, and a hot menu. During the warm season, you can sit on the terrace. The hotel s bar embraces the terroir, from mountain views to a deeply rooted menu starring herbs and flowers from the garden and local spirits.

For those who prefer to keep fit, the hotel offers access to a state-of-the-art gym , sophrology walks, outdoor yoga classes and mountain biking... After an active day, you can relax in the hammam, hot tub, saunase, as well as receive facial and body treatments in your room or in the renovated spa.
