Mashpi Lodge National Reserve
Mashpi Lodge National Reserve

The modern lodge in the heart of the Ecuadorian rain forests, in the Mashpi National Park, was founded by the former mayor of the capital Quito, Roque Seville, who is considered a real visionary in Ecuador, including for his dedication to the environment.
- Eco-hotel surrounded by the Choco rainforest
- Original architecture and sleek, cutting-edge design
- Unique hiking experience
Here you will wake up to the inspired chorus of tree frogs, have breakfast under the attentive gaze of monkeys and inhale the aromas of orchids, of which there are several hundred species in the forest. Moreover, a couple of years ago, a completely new species was discovered on the territory of the lodge, which was named Lepanthes mashpica. It s no surprise that Mashpi Lodge is part of National Geographic s collection of unique lodges.
The lodge is designed for only 47 guests: they are accommodated in spacious rooms with glazed walls - you can not part with the forest even at night. Furniture in a minimalist Japanese style emphasizes complete harmony with nature.
The hotel restaurant is an incredibly beautiful space where guests are served equally beautiful dishes: tuna in local herbs with a side dish of cassava, fettuccine with mountain garlic, and, of course, cocoa in different textures for dessert.
Get ready to walk a lot through the forest, listening to sounds, voices and rustles and listening to the stories of biologists: the lodge offers a huge selection of research routes, for which people climb into the very thick of the Ecuadorian forest.
